Tom was at The Lounge, the less formal dining alternative that the hotel offered its guests. As he was eating some traditional late breakfast, as it was around 11:30 so really closer to a brunch than breakfast. Although he was still having the traditional breakfast foods that consisted of toast and eggs in the form of eggy in basket, good English tea, and some orange juice. He wasn't that hungry hence why he had only gotten two eggys in a basket rather than his normal three.
Sitting there he ate with his headphones in his ears, the American hip/hop artist T.I. blaring though them, to block out the noise of other people, not that he minded as all of London probably knew that the cast of Harry Potter was staying in this hotel. He liked his fan but today he decided to cover up the Draco Malfoy blonde hair with a hat.

Melody looked around the lounge as she tried to find somewhere to get away from her friends. Alyson and Glenn were fighting again and there was only so much shouting that Melody could take before her head exploded. She stepped up to a small podium, seeing that it said you had to wait for a waitress to seat you.
Following a waitress to a table next to a guy with headphones in his ears, Melody sat down at the table and put her own headphones, ordering a small salad since she wasn't really hungry. She flipped on Foo Fighters on her Ipod then sat back, reading a book while she waited patiently for her salad to come.

Tom looked over and smiled at the person that sat next to him, obviously she didn't see him or didn't recognize him as she didn't smile back. Who ever thought a hat would cover up so much as he probably would have been spotted all the way across the room without it. Not that he minded because he loved his fans. "Hey Jenna can I get a…" Tom called to the waiter but before he could get it all out he was given a napkin "Here you go Tom. He smirked saying thanks as he turned to the girl near him. "The service top not and Jenna is one of the best." He smiled as he picked up the tea smelling the wonderful aroma before taking a drink.

Melody only happened to hear him speak because her music had just ended then. She pulled the ear phone out of her ear and looked over at him. "So I see" she said simply, not really responding to the fact that she did in fact recognize him. She just didn't want to sound like one of those fans that swooned all over someone just because they were a celebrity.
She turned her head, noticing she still hadn't gotten her salad. She was starting to get frustrated and sighed lightly, sitting back in her chair again, putting away her Ipod in her pocket. "However I can't say they're all that fast" she said referring to the fact that her salad, a simple salad, hadn't gotten to her yet.

Tom put down his tea as he watched Jenna with a salad in her hand come over towards them. "Really now I think you are worse than any celebrity that I have ever met. Really now it is just a salad and you need to relax." Tom was not at all impressed with the girl as it seemed she was about to pregnant dog out the entire staff because she, an ordinary person, had not gotten her salad fast enough. A salad that was not simple because they never did anything simple at this place. He smiled at Jenna saying thank you to her, even though it wasn't her food as he took out his ear buds, wrapping them around the ipod as he put the entire thing on the table.
"Tom Felton" He said as he stuck out his right hand for her to shake. "And you are?"

Melody shot him a look before taking her salad. "Well excuse me but the service is much faster in America" she said simply, trying her best not to get upset or mad at him. That certainly wouldn't be a good idea seeing as how she's was going to be with him and the others for a bit. She took a bite of her salad then looked over at him, staring at him for a few minutes as he stuck out his hand to her for her to shake as he introduced himself.
Reaching her hand out, Melody shook his hand slowly, clearing her mouth of the salad. "I kind of already knew who you were Tom, I recognized your voice" she said with a simple smile, showing that she was not as bad as he thought. "I'm Melody Johnson, one of the contest winners"

"Yes well you have your McDonalds to thank for that. All that fast food rubbish you American's forget the importance of sitting down for a nice meal." Tom loved America or well the one place that he loved was New York but everything moved at a different place across the pond. People were so fast about everything and if they didn't get something at the speed they wanted it, they got angry.
"Yes well I didn't know who you were…" He said as he moved his free hand back down to the toast picking it up as he said "hence the introduction manners politeness… what do they not teach these things in the States?"

She looked at him, wondering why he was being such a jerk. "Actually I don't eat at McDonalds. Most of my meals are home-cooked actually by myself. Furthermore if you keep up that attitude I'm going to think you're more Draco than Tom Felton, there is a difference you know" she said turning and eating some of her salad. She had no idea why he was being a jerk, after all she made one comment about their speed which could have been made by anyone not use to this place and he takes it the wrong way.
"As for your politeness remark you can just back off. Just because you're a celebrity and good-looking doesn't mean you have to be a prick" she stated, looking at him briefly before returning her gaze to her salad.

"Yes I know there is a different… although some children don't think so as they tend to hide behind their mums legs when they meet me." He smiled at her before taking off his hat as he set it on the table, revealing his Draco hair as he shook his head around to get it to fall into place. "My mother would kill me if she knew I was eating a meal with a hat on." Still even though he was away from Surry where his family lived and where he grew up, he still couldn't shake the manners instilled in him from his parents.
"Sorry… how about we start over… I am Tom Felton a complete prick who thinks he is Draco Malfoy."

Melody looked over at him once more, raising an eyebrow at his statement. "Well I'm not a kid thankfully so I don't find you all that scary" she said with a smile, watching as he took off his hat. She laughed gently at his statement about his mother. "My mother is the same way however she's got a lot more rules than that but I don't always follow them when I'm out in public" she said thinking of her mother and how much she missed her.
"I'm sorry too. I guess I need to watch what I say more often and how I say" she said with a soft laugh, smiling gently.

"Okay then lets just enjoy our meal together of a healthy salad… and eggys in a basket." He smiled as he bit down into the toast as it was his last one. Unfortunately because of this delicious meal he might have to work a bit harder to work it all off but it was a small price to pay in order to have a good meal. He wondered where everyone else was as it would be a bit awkward to have a meal with just one of the contest winners and not the rest.
"So you said you were one of the contest winners… forgive me for my ignorance but I don't really know exactly what we are supposed to do with you three. Aside from the dinner with the cast and set appearance."

She looked over at him. "Yeah" she said standing up, taking her salad and stuff. She took a seat in front of him at his table, now it would be easier for her to talk to him without worrying about shouting or anything.
"Its alright for you to wonder. I'm not really sure exactly myself. I guess we just hang out with you guys or something. The contest company didn't tell us much other than those two things" she said with a shrug, taking another bite of her salad.

Tom watched as she moved over to his area wondering when she was going to do that as he though the stretched out handshake would imply that it was okay for her to move. Then again she was American and he didn't know how they did things over there.
"What like stalking at us in our hotel rooms?" He said in a joking tone before he ate the rest of his toast, washing it down with some tea. Tom was basically done as Jenna came over and took his plate from him, still leaving the tea because you never took tea away from an Englishman. "So have you been on set yet?"
